Preparation:

For best results, Plywood Underlay should be laid in the room environment which it will be installed in for 24 to 48 hours prior to installation, so the underlay can acclimatize. This is essential for the underlay to have good ventilation under floors to prevent decay, distortion and excessive movement of the sub floor.

Installation:

• Install the panels with the nail pattern side visible
• Start on a straight wall leaving a 3mm expansion gap around all the perimeter walls
• Lightly butt all panels and leave a 0.4mm expansion gap between the panels
• Stagger panels in a brick pattern so that four corners do not meet and offset underlay joints by at least 40cm
• Fasten panels to structurally sound, smooth clean and dry sub floor with coated staples or non-staining galvanized head ring grooved buttress type underlay nails
